He is close with both his parents though growing up in Lust didn’t suit him all that much and he ended up searching for something that was his own for a while.
He tried the jester gig for a bit, working at Ozzie’s, and even doing paperwork at one of Asmodeus’s factories but none of it fit. He just wasn’t an entertainer in the same way his parents are.
So, he ended up moving to Pride to follow his dream of writing and producing horror stories
He works in Pride on his own anthology horror podcast (think ‘Welcome to Night Vale”, “Alice isn’t dead”, or “The Magnus Archives”) and broadcasts this on his late night radio program in Pride

Eventually, being scared of her morphs into being nervous bc he’s so head over heels and she becomes a huge inspiration for his stories

Nightlight has found a friend and mentor in Pride in Cecil, who, as a novelist, helps him with his writing and who also has an extensive collection of haunted and cursed items to impress a certain creature in a princess dress in his life that he has a crush on
