He almost exclusively wears a white suit without the shirt underneath and he is always barefoot because of the tar that is perpetually on his hands, feet, and wings
The tar on his hands and feet and the white suit is actually based on Lucifer from Constantine (2005)
He has sharp fangs, as he needs the blood of other sinners as a food source, mirroring how he leached off people when he was alive
His sinner body is actually incredibly fragile so, even though his survival hinges on him being a predator, he’s very vulnerable. His wings tear easily, his skin is delicate, he isn’t strong
His untouchable position in life now contrasted with his physical vulnerability in death
He quickly figured out he needed protection in Hell
Ghost /hates/ that he has to consume blood for sustenance in Hell, as the taste reminds him of his own slow and agonising death
Personality
Ghost is calm and well-spoken. He can be charming and funny when it suits him though he also has a much colder, calculating side.
Work & hobbies
When he was alive, he was a (very corrupt) pastor to a decent sized community and he continued this practice in Hell, hosting the equivalent of a church with the promise of Heaven after Hell but without the genuine effort behind it, the way Charlie hosts her Hotel
He is currently a very minor overlord in Hell, running a small part of the town the same way he ran his congregation back in the day, though he has some ‘agreements’ with other, more powerful overlords to keep his safety and blood supply guaranteed
He operates in a small part of the Doomsday District, bc people who panic constantly about the end times are easily swayed by any semblance of stability, not to mention that a lot of them are still ‘believers’ to some degree
So, basically, he stuck with what he knew, building a small community around him
What he has is not exactly like a church any more but it’s close enough
He really enjoys music and can play a few instruments, among which the guitar and the violin 🎶 He also has a good singing voice, though he doesn’t like to perform and instead only plays when he’s alone
HISTORY
LIFE
When he was alive, he was a (very corrupt) pastor to a decent sized community
Though he did study theology and grew up in a deeply religious household, he lost his belief in the system before he reached adulthood
It’s unclear whether he still believed in God but he absolutely stopped believing that the church was made for anything other than to gain power over people
When he finished his training, he got a position in a remote town. He was known by his congregation as a kind young man; a modern type of pastor who smoked, joked, and had an easy air about him
In reality though, he was corrupt and used his position to satisfy his own needs
He gained power, money, drugs, fucked whoever he wanted, and was protected by the very community he was exploiting through their faith and his position
Those he fucked kept their mouths shut, feeling special that their pretty pastor would look at them like that, not knowing there were many others
Death
He died in his late 30s when he got sick and started coughing, it progressed to coughing up blood and eventually led to his death
After his death, the congregation had to grapple with the truth slowly coming out and a rumour started that he had actually been the devil all along, come to lead them into sin.
This allowed people to feel less responsibility for allowing someone like that to have such a hold over them
RELATIONSHIPS
General
The truth is that Ghost wasn’t in it with the church and his followers because of any sense of ambition but rather an aching desire to be ‘loved’
Though he is an absolute fucking prick, he wants to be special to someone, yet could never fill that hole in his black heart with the blind affection of his congregation
Instead of realising that was just not the type of love he was looking for, he just figured he hadn’t gathered enough yet, so he kept going
Super important to know, of course, is that he has a big dick and is good in bed (when he wants to make an effort), though he has a tendency to be quite selfish when his partner isn’t in any other way useful to him. He sort of uses and discards most people as he sees fit
Rosie
The overlord he is closest to and has the largest ongoing deal with is Rosie. He didn’t sell his soul to her but their agreement isn’t far from it.
She enjoys having a pretty ‘holy man’ under her employ, on a short leash. Plus, he’s friendly, charming, and polite so definitely could be worse
Rosie provides him access to the blood he needs, either by sending him packets or live demons (those who need to be taught a lesson anyway or those who are into it)
In return, Ghost uses his new “congregation” to gather intel and information for her
Besides their regular meetings, they leave each other be mostly
Rosie and Ghost sleep together on occasion, when she asks him to, and though they both enjoy it it is 100% transactional
Sometimes, Rosie will ask him over for tea with her girlfriends, simply because he is handsome and an easy talker so the ladies love him and she gets to show off her pet bat
Ghost does not like being on a leash but at the same time understands that he needs protection in Hell and there are far worse people to work for than Rosie, so he has accepted the situation (tho he does still yearn for the freedom he had in life)
Alastor does /not/ like Ghost and cannot fathom why Rosie keeps him around. In his eyes he is weak, depressing, and lacking in ambition. Not to mention that the man tracks tar everywhere
Ghost just tries to largely steer clear of the radio demon (and most other overlords) to avoid any hassle
Despite the power imbalance, Ghost actually likes and respects Rosie
She is kind, dangerous, and though she thinks he’s cute, she isn’t swayed by him the way others often are, allowing them to have conversations on a more equal playing field than he’s used to

Recently, Ghost found a lost little lamb of a nun wandering the streets of Hell, looking for a new purpose, and he took her in
Her peerless devotion to him fuels him and in turn he is absolutely obsessed with her
