Sable is a singer, though they never really wanted to be ‘famous’, that’s the route the Vees pushed them into to make some money off them.
They do, officially, live at the Hotel, though their busy life often has them sleeping elsewhere and they aren’t home a whole lot these days
They speak English, Spanish, and French (including a bit of Creole)

Birth
Sable was conceived when Valentino and Alastor decided to piss off Vox by sleeping together and having him find out afterwards
Though they did succeed at enraging Vox, a child was not at all planned but here we are
Alastor
Alastor claimed Sable, without any pushback from Val, and raised them in his image. Alastor is extremely protective of them
Unbeknownst to anyone, Alastor fucks Sable. Not directly, he uses his shadow and his tentacles, and it’s not bc he is interested in them like that but rather that he believes no one is good enough for his child and, in his mind, if he keeps them satisfied, they’ll never be sullied by another
The first time was against Sable’s will. It started when Sable was still a teenager and they went on a date with a guy from Val’s studio. Though a big hulking man and working for Val, he was actually really sweet and was just excited to hold their hand
Nothing happened except for a chaste little kiss at the door of the hotel but Alastor saw it and got violently angry
That night, he used his powers to pin them to the bed and ignored all their pleas. Sable cried and begged, it hurt, it was rough, and, to their horror, it felt good
Over time, Sable learned to really enjoy it, maybe even get a little addicted to it. Alastor usually makes sure they enjoy it, ensuring all their needs are met so they won’t look elsewhere, unless, like that first time, he is angry or displeased and uses it as a way to punish them
Sable can’t stay away, even if they might want to
Alastor named them and pronounces their name in French, though everyone else uses the English pronunciation. Most of the time, though, Alastor calls them ‘Sha’ or ‘Cheri’
Valentino
As Sable got older and expressed an interest in singing, Alastor (reluctantly) allowed them to be managed by the Vees who mostly care about their monetary value and image
Velvette dresses them, Val manages them, Vox does the financial stuff
RELATIONSHIPS
General
Sable is sweet and naive and has a tendency to be kind to everyone.
They get along with everyone at the hotel but they absolutely adore Charlie and think her kindness and bright personality are wonderful
They also love Alastor dearly and would do anything to keep him happy. They love Val and Vel but don’t feel as welcome at the tower, except with Vox
Vox
Though Vox was livid when he found out about the pregnancy, when Sable was born he decided to switch tactics and started grooming them with a very specific endgame in mind
Now that they’re an adult they still sit on his lap, he asks them about their day, they kiss, he holds them, and he is overall incredibly ‘nice’ to them
Sable thinks what they have is something special, their little secret away from the world
In reality, obviously, Vox is waiting for the opportune time to fuck them and ensure Val and Alastor find out about it to inflict the maximum amount of damage
Vox is convinced Sable is still a virgin, even though that hasn’t been true for a long time
Baxter
Sable has a huge crush on Baxter, and though Baxter is only vaguely aware of the fact that Sable even exists, their behaviour around Baxter infuriates Alastor beyond belief
Husk
Though no one at the Hotel knows what goes on behind closed doors, Husk has a bad feeling about Sable’s ‘family’. He thinks they’re a sweet, sensitive kid, not cut out for life in Hell, and he’s taken a liking to them, showing them a much gentler side than he otherwise would
Adore & Vertigo
Sable started performing at Vertigo’s club in Pride and immediately got adopted by those two, who noticed their talent but also their innocent nature that would get them taken advantage of.
They look up tremendously to Adore, who they think is the most glamorous, beautiful person in all of Pride. Adore functions a bit like a mentor for Sable, encouraging them to be bolder and share some glamour with them. Sable loves it and sees Adore as a rolemodel.
Vertigo takes care of them, keeps an eye out. Sable thinks Adore and Vertigo make for such a wonderful couple and they watch their interactions as though it is their own, personal telenovela. They are convinced that what they have is true romance.
