He’s fine with he/they as well
He’s pansexual and panromantic, though also somewhere on the ace spectrum as he enjoys sex but does not think of it a tremendous necessity and rarely experiences a strong attraction. His libido is rather low, though his stamina is great
Physical traits
His ‘hair’ is made out of Lilies of the Valley, which are highly poisonous.
He has piercings in his hair, nipples and he has a row of genital piercings. His tongue is split (body modification, not like a demonic snake tongue). The tattoos that cover most of his body are depictions of vines and Venus flytraps
His powers are varied and all plant-based. He has a toxin that can paralyse someone (but leave them fully aware), he can manifest plants and can move the tattoos on his body, including off it, so that he can use the flytraps to attack or the vines to tie someone down
He has a type of sensation in all of the plant material he can manifest. It’s different from how his regular body feels but it’s all alive and part of him. He’s not just conjuring plants/vines etc, he can feel through them. Which is both a pro and a con

Personality
Oleander has a calm, laid back demeanour. He’s not easily rattled and approaches everything with an easygoing attitude. He is, however, also a tremendous sadist and capable of absolute carnage when needed, though he keeps that under wraps rather well
He tends to be a gentleman, without putting much effort into it. Just genuinely decent in the way he treats most people, even more so if he takes a liking to them
He smokes like a heretic and usually rolls his own cigarettes
Most of what he does is to protect his peace, not necessarily his well-being. He enjoys being alone and surrounded by quiet. He’ll do what he needs to to preserve that.

Oleander is usually up very early to care for his plants. This does not, however, mean that he’s a morning person. His brain is the last thing to wake up so, until then, he does the mindless tasks like watering. When he’s more awake he’ll have some coffee and breakfast

He was a gardener in life and has kept that profession in death, working with highly toxic and dangerous plants because he enjoys it.
He loves the calm of working alone in a greenhouse, the smell of soil, figuring out what a specific species needs to thrive, and getting his hands dirty
He has a very skinny, demonic cat-like demon that hangs around his garden, called Hemlock, which he takes care of
Ol lives behind an abandoned, completely dilapidated mansion in what is little more than an upgraded shed or old servant’s housing as part of the estate. Though he doesn’t care for the house, at all, the garden and especially the old Victorian glass greenhouse are his pride and joy

Life
Oleander grew up with his twin brother Ginkgo in a very abusive situation. The twins had to learn to fend for themselves early on and depend only on each other.
They got into a lot of illicit businesses and took on a variety of dangerous job. Oleander’s love for plants and Ginkgo’s tech savvy nature got them in as many dangerous situations as it got them out of.
Death
After the death of his lover, Oleander was executed as the main suspect of the crime, never having contributed to the investigation and refusing to speak.
RELATIONSHIPS
General
In life, Oleander kept only loose connections and relationships, aside from his brother, to keep people from getting close. That didn’t stop him from falling in love though and thinking that maybe he could have a different kind of life.
After the death of his partner and his own, subsequent death, Oleander spent his life in Hell mostly as a hermit. Caring for his plants and keeping from the large city, only rarely venturing out for work or a cheap thrill. Keeping his brother away as well.
Until he met Magnum.
Ginkgo
Ginkgo is Oleander’s twin brother and a cruel piece of shit who has a deep, complex fixation on his brother.
They spent most of their lives fully dependent on each other and Oleander functioned as a protector of sorts for Ginkgo, who was a genius and a manipulator but not much of a fighter.
Lacking the physical strength to take revenge on those in their lives that hurt them or get rid of nuisances, Ginkgo had Oleander do the dirty work and Oleander never minded until he fell in love with someone. Ginkgo tried to convince him to get rid of the person he viewed as a threat to their toxic, possessive relationship, but Oleander wouldn’t budge and when Ginkgo realised Oleander was trying to leave, to spend his life with this new person, Ginkgo killed them and made it look like his brother had done it.
Oleander has always felt a protectiveness towards him so even when Ginkgo, out of jealousy, killed Oleander’s lover, Oleander never told anyone what he knew and was killed for it.
Ginkgo ended up killing himself after getting ruining the lives of everyone who’d been involved with Oleander’s death.
In Hell, he’s had a lot of trouble getting Oleander to acknowledge him, as his brother kept him at a distance. Ginkgo did steal Oleander’s new partner, Dahlia, but even that didn’t stir anything.
So, instead, he had Dahlia put up cameras around Oleander’s new home so he could stalk him.
Eventually, Ginkgo managed to get back on Oleander’s radar by kidnapping the person his brother fell madly in love with in Hell: Magnum
Magnum
Magnum is the son of Valentino and Zestial. He is a wonderful singer and that is what drew Oleander in to come and listen to him with some regularity at the club.
Eventually though, Magnum approached him and the night soon devolved into a bender of the most mind-bending sex either of them have ever had, leaving them entirely addicted to each other.
Because of their very different lives and risks, they parted but were soon reunited due to Ginkgo’s attempt to take Magnum for himself, also reuniting Oleander with his brother.
Though Magnum is the antithesis of the peace and quiet Oleander has worked so hard to preserve here in Hell, he finds himself entirely obsessed with the other demon and would go to the ends of the world for him.
Dahlia
Dahlia, whose real name is actually Dorothea, is a professional dominatrix in Hell, working for Valentino.
She is a short, fat woman with beautiful features and long, auburn hair that looks like fire.
Her and Oleander hit it off though the moment Ginkgo swooped in to seduce her she fell for him immediately.
Oleander and her are still friends, with the occasional benefits. She seeks him out for any type of affection because Ginkgo lost interest in her the moment she left Oleander for him. Still, she sticks around, hoping Ginkgo will at some point look at her with interest again. She is nothing more than a pawn for him to get to Oleander and her continued friendship with him is convenient in that plan.
