Cue is asexual and always felt broken because of this, especially working in the porn industry.
To overcompensate they sleep around a ton, using sex as a substitute for the affection they want but don’t know how to ask for.

They’re very kinky and into darker, more dangerous play, though they do always abide by safe/sane/consensual. They take foreplay and aftercare very seriously.

They’re panromantic, though they haven’t really explored romantic connections yet. Being physically vulnerable is much easier than emotionally.

Cue works on the set of Porn Studios, as well as at Hard Candy (a rival porn studio where Van works as well) where they write scripts. They stay in the background most of the time and don’t like the limelight.

They come across as a bit cold and distant, but that’s mostly because they’re uncomfortable drawing too much attention. They don’t drink or do drugs but they do smoke a ton.

They tend to be calm and not stir too easily, unless it is something that they feel strongly about, in which case they can get violent and dangerous very quickly.

They have two gold canines, a tongue piercing, nipple piercings, and some genital piercings.

Cue has pheromones like Val and a second set of arms that they can retract but almost never use, except in the bedroom.

Birth

Valentino accidentally got pregnant after a drunken one-night stand with Travis. When it turned out the kid looked way too much like Travis to keep, Val had Kitty drop them off with a note: “u left this”.

Cue and Kitty share a bit of a bond.

Travis named Cue and raised them by himself. 

Cue’s relationship w Travis is rocky and complex. Travis loves Cue but is incredibly weird and uncomfortable in the way he shows this. Cue wants Travis’s affection but thinks the only reason Travis likes them is because he views them as a version of Val he can still have. This is partially true.

Sometimes, when Travis is really drunk, he’ll use his key to sneak into Cue’s apartment and get into bed with them. Cue accepts this though hates that they know Travis thinks about Valentino when they fuck.

With Val, Cue’s relationship is distant yet violent. Val doesn’t acknowledge them as his and Cue dislikes him. A lot. If given the opportunity, Cue would fuck and murder him but as it stands they’re very aware they’re not strong enough to take him on so they loathe him from a distance.

Still, Cue has a morbid fascination with anything and anyone to do with Val (or Angel for that matter), wanting to destroy what they have or take it for themselves. They also have a tendency to (not always intentionally) emulate Valentino’s style and mannerisms to get what they want.

General

Cue is pretty composed and withdrawn, not much of a talker, but they can come across as reasonably kind and charming when it suits them. In the case of Angel, or things to do with him, their approach is much more intentionally manipulative bc they know what they want out of the interaction

They’ll always try owning what they want first. They can be quite patient with that, building up trust and making it all about the other person, focusing on their wants/needs/pleasure, because what Cue gets out of it is the thrill of knowing that they’re outdoing Val or taking something he holds dear

Cue is not above abusing Val’s DNA for this purpose either, using their pheromones, second set of arms, antennae, and similar frame (though less broad and smaller) to make someone feel like they’re a kinder, more gentle version of Val that would treat them right. Allowing someone the ‘fantasy’

HOWEVER, if at any point Cue feels like they’re losing the person they set out to own and are about to be turned away, they get real dangerous real fast. Because, if they can’t have them, they will make sure that Val can’t either.

So Angel, and anyone else that Val holds dear to that degree (including his other kids, ESPECIALLY ValAngel kids) are in that toxic corner for Cue where their hurt and obsession meets a very dark shade of longing to be seen by Val (and Travis) the way those others are.

Does Cue recognise that the way Val and Travis view Angel is not the same way they should view them? No. 

Cue managed to fuck Angel once, before they met their current partners. Angel was drunk, he’d had a nasty day with Valentino, and Cue spotted him sitting by himself at the bar.

They didn’t waste any time coming over and being nice to him. Angel initially wanted them to leave but was eventually pulled in by their act, the idea that he could have a version of Valentino that would be kind to him. So, after a few more drinks, sweet words, and some very passionate making out, Angel let Cue take him somewhere more private. 

The sex was good, largely aided by the substances consumed and Angel’s willingness to get lost in the fantasy of it all, until the combination of pheromones, drugs, and alcohol became too much and he passed out. 

Cue could not resist this opportunity and lost all remaining composure, having their way with him for hours.

By the time Angel woke up, Cue was acting nice again and though Angel couldn’t prove it, he knew something had happened. It made him feel horrible, on top of the hangover, and he blamed himself for trusting someone so similar to Valentino. He left as quickly as he could.

This is also why Angel was extra apprehensive when his daughter (Dollie), much later, came home with Cue on her arm as her partner.

Cue’s best friend (and occasional platonic hook-up) is Van. They work together at a rival porn studio, meant to provide an alternative to Valentino’s productions. Cue mostly works here to stick it to Valentino and because they enjoy the vibe of this other studio a lot more

Cue is in a weirdly healthy relationship with Dollie and a complicated situationship with Vike. They’re very possessive when it comes to these ValAngel twins

Though it started out as yet another way to get closer to Angel and Valentino, Cue has actually grown to have genuine feelings for both of them, especially Dollie when it comes to the sweet, romantic stuff. Dollie cares for Cue and brings out a more sincere, genuine nature.

Cue loves worshipping and praising her in bed, having her try some of the more kinkier things they’re into and seeing what she likes. They love it when they can get her to lose herself. 

They’ve absolutely had to apologise to her extensive stuffed toy collection at one point or another, for making them witnesses to something they shouldn’t have had to see (normally Dollie turns them all around before they have sex).

The dangerous and actually violent kinks are shared only with Vike and the sweeter stuff is almost exclusively with Dollie.

Vike and Cue bring out the absolute worst in each other. They rile each other up, just to do some damage and they have violent sex that sometimes borders (or just goes straight into) noncon territory. 

The two of them are addicted to each other and, in a way, this is the closest thing they’ll have to a ‘real’ relationship. 

Though both of them do still sleep with other people, Vike has to keep his escapades quiet, for fear of Cue just straight up murdering whoever he’s with.
